ADOLFO LEON ALEGRIA
Colombian self-taught draftsman and painter. His work is characterized by being located between two poles, surrealism and abstraction.
Themes such as nostalgia, enigma, myth and eroticism are explored, sometimes in connection with ancient legends, others based on the contrast between the real and the fantastic.
It is part of his formal repertoire a plethora of portraits of hyperrealistic treatment, personalities, art collectors and people of the common have gone through his brushes.
With a good technique and experience, multiple exhibitions and his works in collections around the world, Alegria is one of the most serious representatives of art in Colombia.
